Capt. Ross Robertson has made his living as a full-time professional angler for more than 20 years. Over the years, he has worn many hats, including fishing guide, boat salesman, TV host, outdoor writer, product designer, tournament fisherman, speaker, radio host, and podcaster, to name a few. You may have seen his work in publications such as In-Fisherman, Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, MeatEater, or his self-published book Walleye Trolling. While his fishing career has taken him from Alaska to Europe, he spends most of his time fishing year-round on Lake Erie’s Western and Central Basins.

Ryan Buddie
Ryan Buddie is a highly accomplished angler with a proven record of success in competitive fishing on Lake Erie. He is the 2023 and 2024 Lake Erie Walleye Trail Team of the Year and a two-time LEWT Championship winner, with multiple top-ten finishes as a National Walleye Tour Pro. Ryan has represented the United States internationally as a Team USA Predator Fishing Team member, competing in the Czech Republic, Latvia, and Ireland. A seasoned guide and captain, he has been a Lake Erie Charter Boat Captain since 2012, drawing from a decade of experience as an Alaskan Fishing Guide and several years as an Ohio Steelhead River Guide. His dedication and expertise have earned him recognition in the world of professional fishing.

Nicholas Zart
Capt. Nicholas Zart is a full-time charter boat captain and tournament angler on Lake Erie. Nicholas found his sea legs at just 3 years old, and his life has revolved around the Walleye Capital of the World ever since. At age 10, he began first mating and tournament fishing alongside his dad, Gary, earning him the nickname “Kid Walleye.” By 18, Nicholas had obtained his captain’s license and has since been dedicated to learning everything he can about walleye and the art of catching them. He is passionate about helping others become better anglers by sharing the knowledge he has gained from spending 250 days a year on the water.
