The Cleveland Boat & Waterfront Lifestyle Expo will feature used boats in the Pre-owned Pavilion for the first time in its history this January, but the new 2009 models are still the stars of the show.
Visitors have been coming to the expo every winter for the past 51 years to board the latest products from boat builders around the world.
This year’s fleet will be led by the Four Winns V458 displayed by Skipper Bud’s Marina Del Isle in Marblehead, Ohio.

The boat features advanced twin Volvo IPS engines that pull the boat through the water instead of pushing it and allow for precise docking control via a joystick.
Below deck there are two staterooms, two heads, three flat-screen televisions and true hardwood flooring in the galley.
Seasoned fishing veterans will find all the newest bass boats and fishing machines in Angler’s Alley, but visitors looking to enter the sport for the first time should be sure to check out the new Tidewater 196CC Adventure displayed by Pier 58 Marine of Oberlin, Ohio.
The 196CC is big enough to take the whole family out for a day on the water, but is simple enough to be affordable.
The high ceilings at the I-X Center have always allowed for sailboats to be shown with full masts and sails, a feature not seen at other winter shows across the country.
Huron, Ohio, sailboat dealer Harbor North will show the spacious new Hunter 38 and Freeman-Eckley of Vermilion, Ohio will display the French-designed Beneteau 34.

The expo’s collection of wake boats will be grouped near Capt’n Willie’s stage and includes the new 510-horsepower Sea-Doo 230 WAKE displayed by Power Sports of Cleveland.

For visitors less interested in skiing and more interested in pure power, Johnny K’s Powersports of Niles, Ohio, will be displaying the massive 2009 Fountain 42 Lightening.
With its revolutionary hull design, the 42 Lightening is capable of traveling at more than 88 mph with its standard engine set up.
These boats will be joined by hundreds more – from inflatable tenders to million-dollar yachts – at the 2009 Cleveland Boat & Waterfront Lifestyle Expo.
